Secret Neighbor is a puzzle and survival game for PC. Designed as a multiplayer spin-off to the famous indie hit Hello Neighbor, it makes you face a tough challenge: escaping the eerie lair of the Neighbor. But you never know which disguise he may assume. Download Secret Neighbor and try your intuition.
Graphics — 4.5/5
Secret Neighbor game has the original visuals of Hello Neighbor. It's the same bizarre indie horror with grotesque 3D decorations of fright and mystery. Your arena is the Neighbor's house, in which you have many rooms to investigate, many shady corners to hide in and many objects to interact with.
The game neatly delivers an eerie atmosphere, in which danger lurks in the shadows. The house is filled with otherworldly sounds of creaky old stairs, someone invisible loudly breathing behind you, bits of music played by an old, husky radio and so forth. This dark vibe doesn't let you relax for a moment.
Gameplay — 4.5/5
Secret Neighbor game online divides players into two teams. Team Uno are the kids who decided to take the Neighbor's house by storm. But now they got trapped inside, and the only way to unmask the mustache monster and earn freedom is to get to the basement of the house. Which requires finding the keys to the locks.
Team Dos is the Neighbor himself. His objective is:
- To catch every single child;
- At least prevent them from getting to the basement until the time is up.
Neighbor plays solo, but he has a few special powers. First, he is disguised as one of the kids. This is why players don't trust each other in the beginning. Second, Neighbor can turn into various objects to lay an ambush.
Both teams should play hard to outsmart each other. They can use traps, items and of course deception. Neighbor should earn the trust of the kids to strike when they don't expect it. And kids should figure out who is the Neighbor. Hint: Neighbor can't assist an injured kid and tries to snatch them instead.
Controls — 4/5
SN is easy to control. The only nuance to keep in mind is that Neighbor has a special button for dressing up as a kid: T button. The rest is the usual mouse + keyboard controls.
Replay Value — 3.5/5
The Secret Neighbor full game is a marvelous way to sharpen your deduction and creativity. As a Neighbor, you will surely enjoy using the exclusive gadgets and powers to fool the poor rascals. As a kids' team member, you will have to be a hide-and-seek genius, a sharp detective and an A-grade saboteur. If you're not — there will be missing posters with your portrait.
Our Secret Neighbor review recommends the game to every fan of the original title. And if you never played it, this survival is a good excuse to explore the series.
