Gameplay — 4.5/5
There is no story in Pac-Man. However, as aforementioned, it’s the different mazes in every level which enhance the gaming experience. You navigate the character (Pac-Man) through a maze which consists of various small orange dots (Pac-Dots). When you eat all these dots, you clear the level and move to the next one with a different maze. However, eating the dots is easier said than done. There are four ghosts that roam here and there on the maze. In case, you collide with any of the ghosts, you lose a life. When you lose all your lives, the game is over for you.
There are certain powers and special abilities that the game offers you. There are warp tunnels which let you warp from one edge of the maze to the other. There is also something called Power Pellet. When you consume it, you get the power to eat the ghosts and earn bonus points. There are also fruits that give you extra points.
