Ravenfield is a team shooter in the Battlefield style with a single game mode. You will need to choose weapons and shoot players from the Red army using helicopters, cars, boats, tanks, and your tactical skill, of course. Your Blue army has all the chances to eliminate the Red foes from the Ravenfield.
Graphics — 4.5/5
Forget about realistic graphics, because you can get pleasure by killing square heads characters. Though simple, the graphics remain appealing. Different environments well-drawn in the game will potentially elevate the gaming experience. The blood effect (red for the Red Army and Blue for the Blue Army), fire, smoke, and other visual elements further boost the immersion.
Gameplay — 4.5/5
The game has no multiplayer mode, so you are going to play against AI shooters in the single-mode play. Your goal is to eliminate all the Red army players from the map, while you are a part of the Blue army team. With guns, aircraft, and watercraft to destroy enemies, and different vehicles to help you in your endeavors, the game performs itself as a classic shooter.
You have to follow the blood splats on the battlefield to find out where the battle is taking place. When you reach the spot, you will join your Blue team, and together you'll start your mission. New weapons, vehicles, and maps will appear during the gameplay.
Controls — 4.5/5
Controlling the character and the game action is pretty simple. Use the WASD and mouse key for the movement as in the majority of similar games. With the key Q and E, you can lean, and with C, you can crouch easily. All the keys and combinations required for controlling you can find in the loadout menu. But usually there are no questions about it, so you just start playing and intuitively understand what is needed for playing.
Replay Value — 4.5/5
There is a lot to do in the game, so it's likely you would like to play it from time to time, even after concluding the mission. Using different weapons, flying planes, dominating the battlefield with tanks, and making foolproof strategies, is the right kind of experience you would like to experience once more. The game boasts of high replay value and can hold the gamers for quite a long time.
Ravenfield is a shooter where you will deal with artificial intellect bots, so don't expect to get a victory with ease. There are some interesting features like Spec Ops, in which you can play in a stealth mode or a haunted mode wherein you face zombies. All these modes fused with different maps, weapons, and vehicles and can make the game even more challenging.
Conquer the Ravenfield on the side of Blue Army and finally defeat the annoying Reds!.
Pros : Amazing gameplay
Challenging game modes
Improved and better AI
Cons : Combatants are limited by the powers of your computer
Replay Value 4.5
